Stuck

There is a time where you feel that your mind is stuck. This may happen to us in the event that we are in milesstone stage. In this stage we are feeling as if we are in a cross road and do not know where to go.At time like this I feel that I have to make some writing in this hub so that I can try to regain my strenght.

Which Way To Go

I feel as if I am in the middle of no where. Yes, this kind of feeling seems to be emerging in my mind. I am now in my late 50-ies reaching 60. The condition of my physical body is also changing. I really have to manage my stamina and energy, because there are times during the day time where you feel so tired and sleepy.

I am wondering whether this symptom is felt by every person who are in their late 50-ies and reaching 60-ies. After taking a good knap and rest sleeping for around 1 hour, I feel back strong again for which for today I start opening my computer and try to jot down and write my feelings. During this writing, I heard the calling for the azhar prayers from the mosque near close by to my house, for which I better stop writing and go directly to the mosques to say my ashar ( after noon prayer) together with the other people.

As muslim before you say your prayer we are required to take our wudhu ( washing with water on several parts of our body starting from your hand, mouth, nose, face, hands ears, back of your neck your head and your feet). Well after saying our prayers with other people which will take only around 10 minutes of your time, you become fresh again. This kind of feelings is really good and relaxing, as if the Creator had lifted the heavy burden from your shoulder.

When I did this afternoon prayer today, I feel that my age of late 50-ies is like the afternoon stage of the day, where we are no longer in the noon stage, but in the afternoon stage. Well, I got this feelings, that The Creator is asking us to communicate with GOD by bowing and worshiping GOD / ALLAH in this afternoon stage.

As you may be aware we as Muslims are requested to say our prayer 5 times a day, which Firstly, is in the early morning before the sunrises, Secondly, during the noon time (during the high noon around 12.00) clock), Thirdly, during the ashar time (afternoon), Fourthly, during the sunset, and Fifthly, during the night time. Each time of prayer, our prayer will only consume around 10 minutes of your time, starting with taking our wudhu ( washing with water as described above).

Well, back to the stuck mind issue, since I am reaching the end of my life journies of the ending age of 50-ies, I must realized that my physical body is like the afternoon day, where the energy is no - longer hot like the high noon. However, the physical impact might be that I am no longer having the strong body like before, and therefore, I have to frequently re-charge my body by taking exercises, jogging or walking and maintaining my sleep and awackening body to support the continuity of this afternoon stage of life that the Creator is creating us as human being in this Universe created by GOD The ALL Mighty.

However, at the same time with the permit of the Creator, we are hoping and wishing that our spiritual mind, as well as mental and emotional part will get more mature and hoping that we can enriched our self with wisdom enlightment to reach the sunset stage of our life.
